We charge based on the complexity of the problem, not how long it takes. This means we're motivated to fix your issue efficiently, and you know the cost upfront.
Simple issues that we can typically resolve in under 30 minutes.
"My printer says it's offline but it's clearly on. We'll restart the print spooler service, clear the queue, and get you printing in 15 minutes."
Issues requiring deeper investigation, typically 30-60 minutes.
"Computer crawling - we'll check startup programs, disk space, running processes, and Event Viewer logs to find what's slowing you down."
Complex problems that may need multiple sessions or extensive work.
"Popup ads everywhere - we'll scan for malware, check browser extensions, review installed programs, and clean everything out thoroughly."
We tell you the tier before we start. If we think it's a $70 fix, that's what you pay - even if it takes longer than expected. If we discover it's more complex, we'll tell you before continuing.
Other IT companies love to nickel and dime. We don't.
